With a minimum crude protein of 69.5%, next to getting live mysis, PE Mysis is the best frozen mysis available. A favourite of both public aquariums and seahorse keepers in the US, this highly nutritious food is slowly catching on in the UK. London Aquarium regularly use PE Mysis, not just for seahorses but for many other fishes, both marine and freshwater. In the US this is one of the foods credited with helping aquariums to keep Leafy / Weedy Seadragons. Although it may seem expensive compared to other frozen foods this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for - and it's worth every penny! Seahorses accept PE Mysis easier as the mysis shrimps are whole making it more readily recognisable as a food item. Fish prone to emaciation soon develop nicely rounded bellies when fed with this food. Not available online except in bulk packs. Please contact us to find your local supplier.
